We Exhibited at SIAL Canada 2025
We exhibited at SIAL Canada 2025 held in Toronto, Canada from April 29th to May 1.
SIAL Canada 2025 is one of the largest food exhibitions in North America, with more than 1,000 exhibitors from approximately 40 countries and over 20,000 visitors from around 80 countries attending each year.
We exhibited fresh and frozen seafood, marine products, and fruits and vegetables from Japan, and approximately 550 people visited our booth over the three days.
As we were the only exhibitor from Japan, we attracted many visitors with a strong interest in Japanese food products.
The live Japanese freshwater crab (Japanese name: Sawagani) especially attracted attention, and visitors seemed curious about how it was kept fresh.
As tastings, we served grilled eel, green tea, and crab fishcakes, all of which were well received.
We will continue to promote the appeal of Japanese food culture to the rest of the world.
