Chairman Yoneda Attended “The Kyoto Shimbun Scholarship of Love” Presentation Ceremony
On July 5, 2025, Chairman Yoneda attended “The Kyoto Shimbun Scholarship of Love 2025” presentation ceremony (sponsored by the Kyoto Shimbun Social Welfare Foundation) held at Kyoto Shimbun headquarters as a representative of the donors.
“The Kyoto Shimbun Scholarship of Love” is a program that supports students in Kyoto and Shiga who pursue their education with hope for the future, despite facing financial hardships.
On the occasion of the company’s 50th anniversary, Yoneda donated 50 million yen to the Kyoto Shimbun Social Welfare Foundation, part of which was used for this scholarship program.
At the presentation ceremony, Yoneda himself handed out the scholarships and offered warm words of encouragement based on his own experiences.
The event was featured in the July 22, 2025, edition of the Kyoto Shimbun (page 9).
