Launch of “Britpop Brut”

We are pleased to announce the launch of the English sparkling wine “Britpop Brut.”
This premium sparkling wine is crafted using the traditional Champagne method by Alex James—world-renowned musician, cheesemaker, and founder of Britpop Booze.

The wine is produced in the Thames Valley in southern England, a region known for its soil composition closely resembling that of Champagne, France.
In recent years, it has gained attention as an emerging region for high-quality sparkling wines.
Created in collaboration with leading wine producer Laithwaites, this wine showcases quintessential British character through a blend of traditional grape varieties—Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grown in the　limestone-rich soils of the Jurassic Coast, along with Pinot Meunier.
The product name “Britpop Brut” combines the British identity and vibrant spirit of the 1990s “Britpop” music movement with the term “Brut,” representing a dry sparkling wine. It expresses the fun and pride symbolic of “Cool Britannia.”
