Hosting a Corporate Visit for Students from Mukaijima Shuren Elementary and Junior High School
On July 10, we welcomed 11 eighth-grade students (second-year junior high school students) from Kyoto Municipal Mukaijima Shuren Elementary and Junior High School as part of their integrated studies program.
The visit began with a presentation featuring videos and quizzes, through which the students learned about the role of trading companies and our business activities.
Since opportunities to learn about the work of trading companies are relatively rare, the students listened attentively and actively participated in the quizzes.
Next, the students sampled our flagship product, Aurora Salmon.
They had the opportunity to experience its rich flavor and premium quality firsthand, and many of them commented on how delicious it was.
The approximately 1.5 kilograms of Aurora Salmon prepared for the tasting was completely enjoyed by all 11 students.
The visit also included interviews with employees working in our office.
The students asked a wide range of questions about daily responsibilities, the rewarding aspects of work, and the skills and qualifications needed to work for a trading company.
Their enthusiasm and curiosity left a strong impression on us.
We hope that this corporate visit helped deepen the students’ understanding of society and the world of work, while also encouraging them to think about their future studies and career paths.
