Acceptance of a Company Visit from Oklahoma State University

On March 19, we welcomed a group of 44 students studying business at Oklahoma State University in the United States for a company visit.
This visit was realized in response to their interest in our business activities, which have focused on international trade in Kyoto for more than 50 years, and marks the second consecutive year we have hosted this program.
During the visit, we provided an overview of our company, introduced our various business operations, and explained trends in Japan–U.S. trade as well as our current management status.
We also discussed changes in the global business environment and international affairs, providing the students with an opportunity to deepen their understanding.
The Q&A session featured active exchanges of opinions, and the students’ enthusiasm throughout the visit was particularly impressive.
At the end of the visit, the students sampled our Aurora Salmon and Hamachi, which were very well received.
We will continue to proactively welcome visitors from overseas and strive to create opportunities that enhance understanding of Japan and our business operations.
